Our team put together a directory of what is going on in our community so you can Get Connected during this joyous time of the year.
We live in the most beautiful county in the world and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho transforms itself into a magical winter wonderland. Do you know why our Coeur d’Alene Resort Holiday Light Show is so special and unique?
Well, it might be the 1.5 million bulbs they use that simultaneously reflect on the water. It could be the 5 miles of cable they use to run the lights and the 500 50-foot extension cords to insure the power of the lights stay intact. Perhaps it is the 5,000 man hours it requires to build it to completion? These fun facts make it unique, but what makes it special is it’s ours! The residents of Kootenai County have enjoyed these festivities for 33 years but we aren’t the only ones who think so!
Did you know in 2015 USA Today ranked the Coeur d’Alene Resort in “Top Holiday Hotels”, and featured on MSN, Yahoo, and US News “Top 10 Underrated Places with Holiday Celebrations?”
Did you know in 2014 the Coeur d’Alene Resort was ranked #4 in America for the Best Holiday Light Show by USA Today’s Readers’ Choice List?
Did you know in 2007 the Coeur d’Alene Resort was featured as one of the top holiday destinations by ABC’s Good Morning America?
